About Sonie Thakkar
I am Sonie Thakkar, voiceover and dubbing artiste, narrator, and Business English coach with over two decades of experience presenting opportunities for clear, confident communication.
My voice journey began in 1995 with All India Radio FM way back in the 1990’s and has since evolved into delivering warm, natural, and globally appealing voiceovers for corporate, educational, and narrative projects. I am also shortlisted for the Voices of Tomorrow initiative by Kommune and Netflix India and received intensive dubbing training.
Alongside voice work, I offer expertise in English language coaching and assessment, having worked as an examiner with a UK exam board and contributed to projects for CBSE, the Open University UK, and initiatives supported by the British High Commission. I design customised Business English training and LMS content that is practical, focused, and results-driven.
My strength lies in the seamless blend of language and voice. Whether through voice or training, my work helps ideas sound credible, authentic, and impactful—because people always respond to words well spoken.
